Swift is the minority owner, not Knight

Same reason why YRC is pulling Holland trailers and vice versa. It's fair to assume Swift will incrementally phase out Cooper's linehaul with Swift student drivers that can get the same work done at the fraction of the labor costs.

Unfortunately, I believe this also. My buddy must've knew this was coming because out the blue he was head strong on leaving. Dude literally flew to Joplin to go buy a try on a days notice.

Something I noticed recently is that those aren't YRC (Yellow) trucks and drivers pulling Holland trailers. All of their trucks, including Holland's, are being rebranded to "Yellow". If you zoom into that picture you can see it says "Opeated by Holland" below the logo. The YRC trucks are done the same way, only they say "Operated by YRC Freight".

That being said, they are merging operations in some places. Both divisions have terminals closing in certain areas where they overlap. And I know in Columbus the Holland drivers talk about how YRC often brings freight to their terminal for Holland to move.

True, also merging brands is a much different animal than merging a TL and LTL company.

I think you are mistaken sir. Swift shareholders hold about 54% while Knight holds the rest.

You left out the sticker that says operated by Holland. If you think swift will phase us out then ok. I’ll just continue to read the comments from the people outside this company. I’m more than happy to be a swift driver right now. This deal is the reason why I just started making $0.70 cpm. Lookout for my swift truck in the middle lane in the future. Lol
