Sounds like you got lucky and found a dealer who still had an available build slot left over from earlier this year. But if that dealer were to try to get fresh build slots now, they'd be looking at Q2 2022.

Well in Dallas at a shop that does apu's they quoted me 12,000. But I'm sure as you said there are cheaper options out there. There's was probably for a top-of-the-line thermo king or something. Still not cheaper than 700 dollars lol. I don't know I'll probably go that route after I save up some money.

For 11k you can get carrier APU installed
    For 10500 with 4yr 8,000 hr warranty
I love my carriers. I service every 500 hours can go 1,000
But it will be installed this Dec on 3rd truck. I just do a mini refurb before installing on new truck. Now at 19,000 hours. Figure it’s paid for itself 6 times over.
It only costs 2500.00 to switch from truck to truck

    Something to consider….
Pick up a truck sales magazine. Count how many semis with ISX motors in there with over 700k miles that aren’t in frames, crate motors, or somehow other major work.
U still wanna get a truck at 5-600k?

I like a ISX but for reliability if maintained right and not excessive idle give me a Detroit
