Where can I find one of those driving jobs where I can work from home?. I'm even willing to accept a bit less than $650K.

    Just a little bit less.

Where did you search for jobs for Fedex Ground contractors? Indeed? Craigslist? Did you put your application/resume on a site and they contacted you or did you have to contact them?

Also, do Fedex Ground contractors have 1st or 2nd shift runs where you don't have to go to sleep at 12:00pm in the afternoon? Such as runs that start at 9:00am or later and end by 4:00am in the morning?

I also didn't know FedEx Ground was W2. I thought they were 1099's. Or is that Fedex Freight (isn't there 2 different Fedex companies under 1 umbrella or something like that)?

I was searching on Indeed.Com and came across a contractor saying they were paying 75K-82K a year with benefits so I applied. No reviews from company drivers. Only thing reported by company drivers is they were all reporting making 70-82K with the company.

Shifts range from M-F 9AM-what route they give you. Here’s the thing from what I’ve seen with this contractor you can work 7-8 hours or less. So if you start at 9AM you could end your day everyday at 4PM-5PM. Or come in a hour early at 8AM to make spot pay which pays between 28.73-85.90 per spot. That’s five days a week spotting do the math. Most spots take 40 minute but never longer than a hour.

My co-worker runs first shift 9AM-4PM or 5PM.
He works M-F. I come in after him and do night shift 6:30PM-5:30AM in the morning. I work 11 hours a day everyday. My coworker makes $1275 gross a week doing a 40 hour work week.

I make $1600-1700 Gross a week doing a 55-57 hour work week. But I choose to work these longer hours for extra money. Before I was doing 10 hour days exact. 50-51 hours a week for $1350 gross a week.

If you run night shift typically you will be sleeping at 11AM-12PM to be back at 6:30PM or 9PM. I’m also a W2 employee for Fedex ground working for a contractor.

apply with Old Dominion, FedEx Freight, SAIA, UPS (Union, not UPS Freight) and you'll be making $100K a year.

But he will still be making $550,000 less than his brother.......that is just not fair.

then he needs to go get a degree in Finance and become a Wall Street Analyst and it still might take him 10-15 years to reach that pay....or he could become an attorney but no guarantee there either. Either way, life just isn't fair at all sometimes.
