CFI is not as good a company as they think they are.

I've seen more CFI trucks parked on the side of the interstate the past couple days than I've seen actually driving.

These clowns know exactly what time they want to take their 30 and there's no getting around it, lol.

He is an awesome guy. Not quite a thooper twucker, but he knows his stuff. If anyone else gets a chance, assuming I don't kill him with my driving or jokes, you will be lucky.

    Two more weeks.

The original poster is clearly lying. I’ve been at CFI over 5 years now. You are allowed to idle at over 70 degrees, and less than 30. You can even break these requirements if your attached to a trailer, and release you parking break.

Other things stated make me wonder as well.

Only a couple of thing's IMHO, Dogs don't belong in the truck to start with, So maybe your lucky you could take him, It is not there problem to keep your dog comfortible, it's yours.
Also A 18 wheeler running a yellow is not acceptible, your suppose to be taught to anticipate, slow for intersections and be ready to stop. It will happen but should be rare. As far as speeding were all guilty, but there has to be more to this story.
Anyway, you vented as we all do, now move on. Once its in the mirrors it no longer matters.

Running a yellow is using it as designed. They're specifically there and timed as to allow enough time to either continue at speed or slow safely to a stop.

Well subject to opinion, I believe that a Yellow is telling you to prepare to stop if possible. It does not mean hit the throttle, unless of course Im on my bike, then the rules change because of two things, first because i\I'm riding a bike, and second because the rules never apply to me.... yelloe means slow down and red means stop. Yellow is suppose to be a caution indication.

If you're going the speed limit and the light turns yellow after you've passed the point at which you can stop safely you don't just slam on the brakes anyway. You hit the accelerator and get through the intersection in a reasonable time frame. Running yellows is a part of driving as we cannot stop on a dime. Yellow is caution, not stop.

    Mototom Thanks this.
