Got my load for tomorrow. Picking up a peanut product of some sort out of Donalsonille GA going to Mechanicsburg, PA for Wednesday. I accepted the preplan, but before they dispatched me on it and sent me the load info, I got another recruiting spam from the company. Don't they get it...WE KNOW ABOUT THE RECRUITING BONUS, we don't have to be reminded every other day.

Well, my load ended up being just supersacks of shelled peanuts, but the buyer (M & M Mars) wants them kept at 50 while in transit, then turn up to 65 before delivering. Didn't even make it back to Atlanta before quitting today. Had a coffee pot mishap at home this morning, then after cleaning that up and finally getting going it seemed to take forever getting to the customer. Getting loaded only took a little over an hour (including scaling in, checking in, scaling out and signing my B/L - all at another building from where they live loaded me). By 15:00, Google Maps showed more red roads around Atlanta than green, so I pulled up short in Newnan. After 6 days off, that 1st day back on the road is always rough.
