Are you shooting for bus or subway?
Friend of mine switched from bus to subway. Likes it way better because he doesn't have to deal with passengers! :)

Sysco needs 2 years min experience
Challenger doesn't hire anyone with less than 6 months experience and specific schools you got tour training from they won't hire just anyone and bison same story. Yep tried them all none of them will even budge for you. I don't understand how they expect us to get expeirence when noone gives a chance. Ridiculous

just a heads up with the TTC but there’s a sh$t ton of hoops you have to jump through before you get hired . you also must get i think it’s something like 80% on all the required tests . my sisters boyfriend just left the TTC not even a year in and went back to selling cars . he was making like $60-70k selling cars on his worse year but always wanted a government job .He said he got tired of the typical union shop bs and everyone there is a back stabber so watch what u say to anyone . my aunts husband worked there was a bus driver he decided to take a week off and called in sick to work on his inter lock driveway . his best friend at ttc rated him out to the company and they hired a private i to video tape him and he was fired . i’m not saying what he did was right yes you make good money there my sister’s boyfriend started at $24 a hr for bus and it topped out at like $34 a hr

My cousin works at TTC and made $37 an hour driving busses and now he is a train conductor/guarder. Not sure what he makes now but it's closer to $40 an hour. Just like all union nonsense, go about your business and usually nobody will bother you. $37 an hour beats driving OTR and sleeping in your truck 6 days a week.

My cousin is in no way a smart guy but had no problem going through the training process. But I guess it all depends what you make of it.

    .

that’s good money a couple of our guys went over there . i know on the information session there’s a test with a bunch of math questions other things then you have to write a assignment of why you would be a good fit for the ttc . they weed out a lot of newbies from the information session. i would have a hard time dealing with all different types of people you run into throughout the day and then the split shift thing
