Reddaway up in Henderson CO(yeah, guess there's two of those cities. The one in CO and then the other in Vegas' shadow) was surprisingly quick with their application-to-interview-to-road test back when I put in for linehaul there back in 2017. Of course I only backed out after getting PTSD and sticker shock from the housing/apartment costs in the area. Other companies seem to be dragging their feet more than they do.

Ya there’s another one in Texas lol my process was fairly quick. From interview to hire prob a month. Ya some of the pricing is ridiculous. I’m saving for a house so ima wait n see what happens

Of course outside of the pricing and winter of the area, I think my main deal-breaker was not getting Thursday nights off. There's a cruiser bicycle scene I engage in, probably one of the few socialization activities I have any care for, that tends to be a release for me. Take that away while dealing with the other ills of the immediate area and I'd probably go cuckoo for puffs!!

That said, Henderson TX doesn't look so bad. But I don't think TX has any USF/Reddaway or anything like that. Maybe The Roadway/Yellow, but that's about it. Only reason I'd move down to Texas is due to that Fear The Walking Dead show being filmed in and around Austin. I'm a "Super Fan Freak" of that franchise and it'd be cool to be an "extra survivor/walker" on that!!

Playing in the pool is the best hobby to have in Vegas during the Summer.
