so my rear end went out. i had to tow it. heres my question. do you think it went out because 500k miles i drove. or because i do tanks (sometimes) and a good amount of overweight (up to 90k). we do containers. or is it my driving. im very irritated about it

What failed? That has a huge bearing on the answer you receive.

Have you ever changed the oil?
    Was it broken down?
I change oil in transmission and rear ends once a year... (September usually before winter comes) it’s only money and cheaper than buying a new rear end

You could have a broken axle. Is it a single or tandem?

I doubt it was 90k.....if it was glider chances are it was a reman. Most remans are not set up properly when repaired. Notice I didn’t say rebuilt
