Then Why did you use that term in a post about riots then., Chicago was not the only Location that had areas that were destroyed. If you would do a little research, you would learn that the destruction was also widespread. I did not live in Chicago. The south side was looted and burned.where I lived.

Truck stops do not scare me but they make me nervous. Any place with a bunch of trucks I worry I'll personally be run over or backed onto, or the truck mirror/hood/whatever damaged. So I fuel and wash and that's it most of the time.
Rest areas are great. Mostly a damage free zone and the speedy jerks are mostly in 1 lane.
I see reckless behavior but not hostility. I don't socialize. I'm a 53 year old woman with no scary dog or big gun. I pull my curtains when I pull in, and don'tleave the truck after dark. My last tire/hub check and load securement walk around is often not at my 10hr stop so often nobody knows whose in my truck until the pretrip. I'm sensible and cautious but if I was fearful I'd find another job. I don't watch TV or do social media. I have real humans call me if there's riots or ice storm or fire/flood etc. No need for living in the drama show of constant internet.
    Problem solved.

It is a social venue, yeah. But I find little to no drama, the website doesn't introduce things to buy,, stuff to worry about,, or people posting a bunch of fake life weirdness.. and it doesn't compel me to check back all the time like the old facebook/yes I'm old enough to have had MySpace lol... this is more tricks of the trade and venting. Mostly Harmless LOL

"Hey everybody, relax. That burning buildings, cars, and those beaten people don't qualify as a riot." That should make the damage and injuries heal at least 9% more quickly. Haha

The overwhelming majority of BLM protests don't have any of that stuff. But your "information" sources don't get many clicks off of telling you about those, so they skip it and move on to the next ragemaker instead. Gotta keep those clicks rolling in.
