I don't know about anybody else, but for me there's stuff on the bunk that gets shifted to the driver's seat before I can kick back. Sometimes I'll procrastinate that process.

Yup, some people will attempt some mindblowing stuff in order to avoid the $15 reserve parking fee.

I fuel elsewhere, 60 nights (per quarter) parking at 15$.. thats nearing 4k for the year (or whatever percentage lower depending on how often you need to park at a truck stop)... ill save my cash thanks

That said i dont usually park at large truck stops, but thats part of it

Thats an awful lot of reserves. Almost as if youre heading straight to the reserve aisle regardless of how many free spots are open. Truck stops arent my first choice either though, but sometimes you gota do what you gota do. I probably use reserve about 25 times per year.

I do what i do, which is avoid truck stops except for coffee bathrooms showers and food, youre about 400$ down in parking alone, which is not much, but easily avoidable, probably more avoidable than certain tolls of we're being honest

My options are somewhat limited by my lease. No parking on the side of a road. They're not interested in losing another multimillion dollar lawsuit.

Plus the hazmat I pull would preclude many of those options even if the carrier didn't. And 400 bucks is really nothing in the grand scheme of things. I can make that back on a lazy afternoon.

That was one of international's few good ideas. J.k. we had 51" pro sleepers back in 96 when they first came out. It was nice being able to spin the seat around and put your feet up on the bunk and watch TV or read a book. That shows how long ago it was lol
