And the rest area on I-4 that's always full and has a bunch of people living in it. Reminds me of Oregon rest areas.

If you are hauling hazmat be prepared to stop at a bunch of railroads while off the big roads.

Just clap you aren't headed to Miami.

Make sure your tandems are slid ahead, run the toll roads unless you want to deal with 2 million traffic lights, park behind the chrome shop in Wildwood and go into Orlando the morning of your delivery.

I just recently, on July 4th, finished getting to all 48. However, not all in a truck. I haven't done any New England and have no desire. But, I lived on Cape Cod in the early 90's so traipsed all over New England then. My last two were North and South Dakota. I picked up a load in the very Northwest corner of Washington and took it to Wisconsin. Normal routing would take me through one or the other, but not both. So, I didn't do a 'normal' route. Added about 60 miles to the trip, but well worth it and my company had no problem with the odd route. They understood because I'd been bugging for awhile to get a load that would take me there. They probably just glad I'll quit bugging them about it now.
Anyway, it was a great feeling and if I were to do a bucket list, it would have been on it. Hope you manage to get there too!!
I normally drive West Coast, so can't say much about Florida. I took a load there last summer. I think it was Lake City. But, I lived near Cocoa Florida for a year awhile back.

The Petro in Ocala seems to have spots pretty late if you're taking I-75.

Haven't been there in awhile. It all looks the same to me. Bugs and sand and rain.

Miami is a LOT easier than Orlando for parking. I used to LOVE the Miami loads I took out of Texas. It was a cakewalk. Of course, only a few of us out of 250 drivers would accept that load and we made #### sure to spread it around that all those horror story rumors were ALL TRUE!!!! Lol
