Got with my trainer.
First load is a pickup in eagle river Wisconsin. We had to stop off at a drop yard first to get an empty trailer. That was good. Got to inspect a few trailers and understand why I wouldn't want to run a few of them.

Just to finish this off. I didn't post during the 21 days of trainer time but that all went well. Learned a lot! The stuff you don't learn in CDL schooling.
Spent a couple times in the "find a place to park" fiasco of truck stops.
Had a 6 hour wait to get loaded because of thunderstorms.
So yesterday (Saturday) I got to Georgia to take my DSE and was given my company truck. Finishing my 34 now. I have a steel pickup this morning in Georgia headed to Wisconsin.
6 weeks of school and training.
I guess I'm a trucker now!!
Stay safe!!BlueThunderr and Chinatown Thank this. -

We did the 21 days up and down the 65. KY and Tenn were brutal for parking

I'm changing my whole schedule compared to what the trainer did.
Is rather be up early and on the road and look for parking before 4 if I can. Little time to unwind and eat, call the family etc.
Spot hunting blows! And wastes hours imoBlueThunderr and Chinatown Thank this. -
