    Got with my trainer.
First load is a pickup in eagle river Wisconsin. We had to stop off at a drop yard first to get an empty trailer. That was good. Got to inspect a few trailers and understand why I wouldn't want to run a few of them.
    My first tarp job

Just to finish this off. I didn't post during the 21 days of trainer time but that all went well. Learned a lot! The stuff you don't learn in CDL schooling.

Spent a couple times in the "find a place to park" fiasco of truck stops.
Had a 6 hour wait to get loaded because of thunderstorms.

So yesterday (Saturday) I got to Georgia to take my DSE and was given my company truck. Finishing my 34 now. I have a steel pickup this morning in Georgia headed to Wisconsin.
6 weeks of school and training.
    I guess I'm a trucker now!!

    Stay safe!!

Good luck with the trying to find a place to park...I shut down a lot between 12 and 4am so I know what it's like,..As you drive around you'll start to figure out the areas where you really need to start looking for parking early before your clock runs out...Places like the middle of the country - TN, KY,etc, and the northeast too among others...I think my record for pulling into places and trying to find a place was around 7 before I found a spot (that was around Cincy)..God bless and be safe.

I'm changing my whole schedule compared to what the trainer did.
Is rather be up early and on the road and look for parking before 4 if I can. Little time to unwind and eat, call the family etc.

Spot hunting blows! And wastes hours imo

eh if you are in KY amd TN ya it can suck...I guess it depends where you run though too...I don't always run that area nor the northeast so I make it work..
