Better just leave it alone. Truck belongs more to the Bank than you. Besides the warranty, you’ll ruin any resale. Truck should be fine. Sure there’s a lot of horror stories. Doesn’t mean it applies to your Truck.

GHG14 and GHG 17 engines are good. They have changed many emission parts. 2014-2015 engines had only one critical issue, glued cup on oil suction manifold... EPA07 and EPA10 were problematic

I’d just contact the cops and insurance company report it stolen.

No reason why a new module can't be programmed off the truck. I've done it on construction machinery in the past.

as far as i know mcm and acm can be programmed off truck. cpc, sam cab and sam chassis can be programmed only after installation.

I bought the OTR reset tool for my 2014 dd15 and its saved me alot of time and tow bills . The sensors in and out on the def should probably be a maintenance deal at least once a year or 2 , would save ppl alot of headaches . Also the def pump and filter along with def heater lines are all easily replaced by someone with lite mechanical knowledge . I had all sorts of issues at one point only to find out the sensors wires had a small fray that was making the whole system go nuts . Im at 800k so these trucks are manageable if you seek out the info .

Moral of the story... if you have a deleted truck, don't take it to the dealer.

Not sure yet if this product is snake oil but a friend swears by it so I just tried it in my truck
I have a 2021 so not really all built up with soot etc
But my Apu I bought new in 2014 and this is the 3rd trucks it’s been on
The other day ( about 3 weeks of using this product ) it was starting hard, chugging and blowing black smoke
Wouldn’t stay running so I bought a new fuel filter and fuel pump yesterday
Went to try it again right after buying but not installing yet and it again chugged etc. blew smoke and then cleared up and runs like new
Starts easier than it had recently been starting

    Again. Snake oil?

The product is Max Mikeage from Pittsburgh Power

I have no experience yet other than it seems to have cleaned out my APU but my friend said he first tried it on a truck with 800k. I think? And it threw codes. Ran rough. Regened etc for a couple weeks and finally blew itself clean

He is now using it on his new truck and says it uses less def
    Worth looking into

BTW it was like $280 at Iowa80 Joplin
And I ordered it online from PP for $220 to tax and free shipping with a subscription that you can alter or cancel anytime
