I haven't driven for seven years and get offers quite often. I would think that anyone with a good mvr that can pass a drug test and physical could find something, especially these days.

I didn’t have a problem with Knight at all, but they obviously have a problem with me at this point. Life goes on and it’s not something I’m going to worry about. Are you kidding me? I went back to them many times because they made it easy for me and they knew me.
The reason they decided to pass on me this time around is because I have two SmartDrive videos that cost me my monthly safety bonus. I don’t know for sure, but that’s the only thing I can come with. My CDL is clean and my CSA looks great, so it has to be that. If it’s not the vids I would have no idea why they would not hire me back for the 6th time or so.

I know that all the Mega companies go through drivers real fast. To hire someone who knows the job, doesn’t take home time and doesn’t make rookie mistakes should be the goal. If I can’t do it with them, I’ll do it with someone else. Nothing can stop a determined mindset and a work ethic.

I did that. Well cut back from 60-65 to 46 hours. Four days a week. It doesn’t erase the feeling of dread, but it does give you more days where you don’t think about it.

When you see a sign flipper for a Pawn shop in 90 degrees and think you know what that's still better than sharing the road one more day with Swifty and Prime....

Yup time to hang it up

Dang.. That is pretty low.. I think I would still prefer to be stuck in traffic in so cal while shifting gears than do sign spinning lol...

With that said. I rather drive autos for OTR work.

When you create a spot at the truck stop, even though there is available parking.
