I’ve had the displeasure of running on 70/25 this week and have noticed a lot of bs behavior.
No matter how many years of experience you have, there’s no reason not to get out and look, I’m sitting at a facility getting a hole patched because a 30 year driver couldn’t be bothered to check his blind side.

Let’s not try to bully traffic, dont try to force someone to take an exit when they’ve had their blinker on as soon as the “exit only” sign came up.

When you’re being passed don’t take it as a personal insult and try to run someone onto the shoulder.

When someone is backing don’t be the jerk wad that purposely gets in the way/speeds behind them.

if you’re reading this throw in some “common sense” pointers to the new guys.

Most of the time if a truck is passing me, I'll slow down alittle so he can get around me quicker. Especially when they have traffic backed up behind them.

I'm governed at 65, so usually about the slowest one on the road. But, on occasion, I will come up on a slower truck. I tend to follow behind them until traffic has cleared up so I don't clog up other traffic while I arduously pass them.

Polite driver who is occasionally that jerk speeding through a backing window…some of us really really really want to be polite but are really really really three seconds fromwetting our pants. If someone speeds behind you encouragingly take it as, I believe in you but I don’t believe in me….

No where near the slowest trust me on that one lol. I can run 64/65 all day, but have a hard time when the 62.3 mph guy tries to pass the 62.1 mph guy on a hill… on I-25 between Tucumcari and Moriarity.

Well... it’s not like you have to keep your foot to the floor 24/7. If your truck is governed at whatever speed, I suggest setting your cruise 2 or 3 mph below that... then this problem of how to pass a slightly slower truck would be solved. I promise, losing that 2 mph is not going to make or break you.

I do the same in my 65mph turtle. If more guys did that there would be a hell of a lot less problems out there.

Man I just had the worst experience so far while I’ve been driving.
Truck wants to run 62mph in a 70 in the center lane.
No trucks left lane, I have no intention of passing on the right it turns into exit only anyway.
Move behind him and wait this guy moves right to take the exit.
He sees me passing him and FLOORS it…..going into a 45mph curve freaks out and jerks his truck into my lane, right as a car from the other lane cuts over at 60mph.
What in the ever loving (really long string of curses) was the point of that?

I’ve got 3 hrs on my 11 but I’m angry so it’s time to park and sleep it off.
