So I had 50% fault in a recent accident and went with my own insurance. The accident wasn't reported to DMV and no police report. Come September, my premium will definitely go up. I have had a spotless driving record in 7 years except this accident. What if I shop for insurance and don't tell them about this accident?

Also, I have developed this pain in my right shoulder after the accident. I have not visited a doctor yet. I am toughing it out. I should be fine, this pain should go away.

No, they’ll just ask for what’s called a loss run and you’ll get exposed as a liar. The only way to avoid these things is to pay for the damages out of pocket. No report, no loss run, nothing happened.
I have $5000 deductible because I normally go out of pocket in such situations.faux_maestro, not4hire, Bean Jr. and 3 others Thank this. -
okiedokie and faux_maestro Thank this.

Meanwhile the other driver is so care free, their adjuster haven't been able to even get them on the phone yet, forget about them reporting the accident lol. Infact, their car is not even on the policy that they shared with me. So, I was left with no choice but to pay my deductible and get my car fixed.
baha Thanks this.
