NEED AN ADVICE: NEW TRUCK DRIVER

I am a new truck driver and ready needs some help. So last month I started working at McConnell transport,NB and they were not giving me miles as most of the time i sit in truck idealy. So I inform them about leaving the job and parked the truck where I’m supposed to after my last route and now they sent me a bill of around $1100 , Plus No pay of 1 week and give me 20 days time to pay back. They did mentioned in contract that they will charge $2.95 per mile to their location if I failed to return vehicle which I forgot and they also didn’t inform me, but the total miles are only 182 which makes dues around $536 . And they charged double and no pay. Please give me some suggestions what to do as they are not replying my email. Thank you

No , it wasn’t lease purchase. I ddi complete my last trip as a driver and supposed to park the truck in my city, but as I quit then I suppose to retun that to their main office which I didn’t know but I informed them that the truck is parked in my city yard.

 

I am commercial truck driver

 

And what about the collections, will they damage my credit report as I am international and little scared.

 

As per Contract: “if the Employee fails to return Company vehicle to Jacksonville, the company will charge at the Employer’s reasonable expense’ to return the vehicle to Jacksonville, NB and other reasonable expenses occasioned by leaving the vehicle other than Jacksonville, NB for cost of storage, safety, etc.’ This is what they said. I understand that I left the truck to local yard but they are charging for double distance plus not giving me the details of my last pay as they supposed to deduct from my pay.
