Shoot, if I hauled that, there would have to be an armed guard sitting next to me, and an armed escort vehicle watching my back...that's stuff is more expensive than gold.

I cannot confirm or deny this statement. My B/L is in code

not exactly them, but a competitor.

They're not quite that strict with check-in's every time you blink...but they're probably linked into the customer side of our system and can keep track of any updates I send in, plus they have their GPS tracker burried in one of the pallets somewhere.

Ended up being a rare good day, I have so few, I may mark this date on the calendar. Unloaded at the Costco D/C in Morris, IL. Had a 6:15 appointment, bumped the dock at 5:45. Pulling out the gate at 6:30(gotta love how Costco does things). Headed to the Kenosha area after I blew some dust out of the trailer. Made it thru Chicagoland with little trouble. Got to my WI pickup, only one truck at the dock. Checked in early, and was loaded and rolling before my appointment. Made it all the way thru Chicagoland again without much trouble, until I got to the I-55 & I-80 jct, then traffic came to a screeching hault. It seems as though none of the roads in that area are in need of repair, so ILDot decided to get out their street sweepers and clean the hammer lane of the interstate. No crash debris, just 3 street sweepers and some blocking arrow trucks screwing up traffic, and you can see where they had been sweeping by the wet streaks that went on for miles. Got thru that, and a few more construction backups and made it to my fuel stop outside St. Louis, where I called it a night. Now I have a little over 1500 miles to turn by Monday morning, and this load is only 10,000 lbs, so it should be an easy peasy trip...(knock on wood)...I bought a new can of karma repellent, will see how well it works.

According to this weeks propaganda video, all trucks will have Drivewyze activated within the next 30 days. Why does this company always go with the 2nd best...Freightliner, Peoplenet, Drivewyze. Also, they said we have top notch technicians in our shops...I am curious, which shops have those?

I have used drivewyze and they just as much coverage as prepass does and even more locations that prepass doesn’t have systems at either.

Prepass has a companion app for your phone now that works with a lot of scales that don't have the transponders the same way Drivewyze works.

Yes i know..i use it as well… I will say this much from using drivewyze in states that typically use rest areas for weigh station‘s like Pennsylvania and New York for example drivewyze works on those locations too..

Nit-picking 101 time. We got a message about off duty and sleeper time being logged accurately...they are claiming that we are getting violations for drivers saying they're in the sleeper when they are really off duty, and vice versa, claiming they're getting CSA points for it....which I call total B.S. I have been level 3'd on a fair amount of occasions, not once did the officer question whether or not my sleeper time and off duty time were correctly entered. The only time it would happen would be if you split logged and needed to show 7 continuous in the bunk...and then how would the cop prove it was false one way or the other. I guess Lincoln is running out of things to ##### at us about, and have to do something to prove that they're doing something to earn a paycheck.

Yeah that’s rubbish. I haven’t even ran across an examiner who would care, you guys doing a lot of splits? Probably one driver ran into a nit picker and Lincoln decided to make something of it.
