    I think that he was addressing CRST drivers specifically based on the language. "TIPS" is probably an acronym for some type of company performance bonus or the like...
    I'm pretty sure that a CRST driver would have a general idea of what the subject matter is, but maybe not...

    I think what they meant was, when a driver does a really good job, CRST promises to give them just the tip.
