Do not understand all you guy's technical talk but can tell you what works. Run a ground wire from the antenna bracket to the truck battery also run the radio ground to the battery. Bypass the the truck body. Always worked well for us.

It was the skip shooter that i had to trim a lil wire on but the rl on my analyzer is (recieve)Is not near as high as before..

Now re the the 102 on the riser..I coulda just added a wilson 2000 style extention but i figjred by haven a riser(like the top mast of a coiled antenna)i could make it more tuneable ..You maybe onto something re it just not long enough..I tried searching out a 108" around eastern canada but no such luck..I dont do stateside anymore so shipping of a 108(if i found one)wouldnt make it worth while..
Dont wanna add length to the 102 cause it will be more flippy floppy..
Ill have to research some more when i get my pc working..
    Tks for your thoughts..

No analyzer did show it was to short but didnt make sence..

Naw i decided i didnt want crappy ant studs so i went with a breedlove stud..The diameter of a bl stud is bigger than a wilson(threaded part )so i figured to go all stainless vs alumium..Hoped it might help some but didnt really expect it..

Maybe your truck is tired of staying in "The Great White North"?

you do understand that 90% of the cab/sleeper (even the doors) are PLASTIC/FIBERGLASS on a freightliner right....??

You can do all the bonding you want, it's not going to help....

so a stick on magnet will stick to the door and side of the sleeper... because they wouldn't on the 3 freightliner's I've had and 1 had to have the door replace because a bolt was over tighten and CRACKED the inside
