Thanks again for your insight Chinatown! I have seen all the work you have put in to this forum helping other prospects and drivers in the industry. Do you accept donations? I can imagine you put a bit of time and resources helping others. I will be back to post my status going into the industry. Thanks again

Just go to UPS, apply for a dock Union job and wait for an opening for their truck driver program.

you earn coin, get exercise, and are in a Union first then leads you to a cdl and a stable job for years to come.

If you’re in upper management , and earning a good salary , just pay off the fine already and be done with it.

everyone on Craigslist skips the titles on the cars they are flipping.
At least they do in my state since the state charges 7% of the blue book NADA value of the car when you title it in your name .
But it can get you in trouble .

time is what you need, so just be patient .
I certainally wouldn’t take a pay cut to live in a truck and be away from home all the time.

I agree with roundhouse. I'd stay where I was in upper management making more money with more time off. I'm looking at this for a better job and income so not the same as your situation. I hope you can take a $1500 plus a month pay cut though. That would be a heck of a cut in pay if things are tight already going by having the fine to pay off yet.
I wish you the best of luck.

I got into trucking because it paid 5X what I was earning at my previous job

if I had a cushy office job working 8-5 Monday/Friday , making good money,
I’d never have left and started trucking .

    ZVar and Chinatown Thank this.
