Would going O/O even be worth it for me?

    Definitely not in any hurry and the company i work for isnt going anywhere and the contract i run is still expanding year after year. With what both companies are doing our contracts keep expanding and ive already gotten a couple raises this year bumping my pay up about 12k so far.

    When the new distribution center is completed and if my company gets the contract to 100% manage it and run the routes if the contract bumps up enough i would probably never leave. i would be stupid to leave if the pay increases more.

    just curious where in the county i $1k enough to be sole bread winner and raise a family? In NY a gf or wife to help pay for a house would be nice haha

    Any rural area in a red state. In semi riral alabama (3 miles from a Walmart ) a 3/2 brick ranch on 5 acres with a 20x40 shop is easily bought for under $100k

    took my cousins 18 months to sell their parents place I just described for $85k

    Theres your problem, local is okay i guess, but where the locality is makes a huge difference as far as if its worth being home, upstate ny is pretty, but the state itself is too expensive to bother living in

    Plenty of people raise a family on 1k a week around here. Frankly that’s considered pretty good. Or atleast pre covid. Things are changing quickly.
