Of course there is a line.

 

Had a close call today driving around Jasper, AL on my way to sysco in Memphis. Dually pickup with a trailer going slow with hazards flashing and an an SUV behind following with hazards on too. I move to the middle lane to pass and the car that was behind me saw the slow moving vehicles once I moved over and decides to get out into the far left lane to pass thunking he was going to get around all of us and get off the exit where the Love's is. As Im passing the slow moving duo, the car in the far left sees he is not going to make it around me and the slow duo in the right lane so he whips in front of me and slams his brakes on and completely stops right in the middle lane right in front of me and waits for the slow duo to go by then whips over behind them and off the interstate onto the exit ramp.....looked over and he was laughing, wouldn't be laughing if I had pushed his trunk into his front seats killing him and his family.

 

I’ve been wanting to try a chiropractor, but I’m really chicken about it. There’s one in Orlando area that I follow on Facebook called Mondragon chiropractic, but that looks kind of scary. I do have an appointment with a massage therapist who also does a bit of chiropractic care, though.

 

Yeah, as far as I can tell, the app will alert you and show you on a load even when the office people have put it in the system in such a way that in pre-app times the driver would not know about, as it is not yet "sent to the truck."

And I think a lot of office people are not even aware of this. They probably put you on the load so that nobody would give it to someone else, but expected you to not know about it till tomorrow. Maybe even knew that it was OK to load tomorrow instead of just assuming. But they did assume you wouldn't be notified of it yet.

That's my guess anyway, from trying to piece together clues using my brief office experience.

 

In 2019 my back got so bad that I got to take a little ambulance ride to the ER.

In physical therapy they taught me a bunch of exercises, most of them basically yoga. But it all seems to work, from several different angles. My back is looser, stronger, and I'm just more aware of how it's situated at all times now.

 

The Freightliner seat is better on my back. To the point where I think I wouldn't drive our Volvos anymore, even though the tuning of the Freightliner transmission is more annoying and maybe even more unsafe than the Volvo.

I don't know what I'm going to do come winter when I can't engage manual mode. I guess tell them I can't move the truck. Hell I hated doing 64 and 77 in the Freightliner when I finally got out that way, and this is in the summer. Just seems certain that at some point it's going to put itself in neutral and then not going to be able to get itself back in gear. Going down a hill.
