If its not too much trouble, mind posting a pic or so of how theyre installed for you?
Also, 40/30 watt? How many?
Trailer? Or truck?
Cost? 500$ a panel wouldnt be bad if youre doing 2 or 3, but if it takes 15 panels on the roof of a box van, count my tarpmonkey keister out, imdestructible you say, a 45 k coil may however have a different opinion

Fakebook hall of shame? Who cares. Nothing wrong with that set up. $500 generator, $150 window unit. What’s not to like. Last I checked ( about 10 yrs ago) APU was $13k plus installation. Generator or AC unit goes down, toss it, but another. APU isn’t much more than a small diesel generator and a mini split AC system. Not to mention needing maintenance. Not bad if rolling into a monthly payment. The savings will outweigh the increased pymt. Still a lot of cash to put out as an add on to existing Truck. Take at least 2 yrs to break even. A lot can happen in 2 yrs. that 15k can be used for. Screw those Fakebook Snobs. Lol. That Guys laughing all the way to the bank.

Looked it up myself,
Still not sure what to think. I'd have used the word "engineered". Reading your words and that definition, I'm not sure if you're saying The South is Gonna Rise Again, or some southern boy took a Viager.86scotty and shatteredsquare Thank this. -

i got two of them on the top of a mid roof, goes straight down to the charge controller in the battery box and straight into either end of the battery bank, don't even remember what wattage they are, I think 100w each. ~2k installed March 2019 at thermoking Sikeston MO, for 28 months they've been chooching away without a hiccup. can I reiterate the ability to boondock in fair weather for a week or more using zero fuel? been doing that for 2+ y e a r s on solar. plus it always keeps batteries healthy, they don't ever fall or sit below 12.4v, they can't
Speed_Drums and skallagrime Thank this.
