If you are wanting to be on a frac crew that is a non cdl position, there are companies hiring left and right, here in the Midland/Odessa area. You say you are in Houston, did you try Sun Coast Resources? Nextier? PilotThomas?

Im trying to work in the permian. Ill definitely give them a look. Thanks man any other companies you can throw my way in odessa/midland? I got no experience though but I just need my foot in the door man! Like if i could get a crew as a hand and start working and get my cdl later that would be freaking perfect, just need to get pointed in the right direction

I had a company go back over 18 years and disqualify me because I did not list a moving violation I got in my personal vehicle. Always list everything from the past.

I went to Oreintation for hendrickson trucking in sacramentardo califon-moron and was 1 of 2 guys and the other guy bombed his UA when we went to the Lab. You could tell something was wrong because he would not take the test. I had to wait there and wait there and wait there. Then we had 2 more days of oreintation but I found out a month later that he failed his UA. I think he worked in LA with the intermodal ( cans ) too. That poor fella, couldn't function without his pot.

"I failed DOT pre employment drug test"

Remember its never to soon to stop using drugs. Take a taxi home. Good luch though we need as many 30 year old starting in Trucking as Possible, but now you know the high school stuff has to STOP. No pot, meth, coke, whatever. Take care.

How did they even find it that far back? Who keeps records like that? What state was this?

The biggest issue I see is that everyone in the oilfield is requiring at minimum 12mo recent experience. Yeah, in 2012 during the big boom there were ads all over the Permian basin saying no experience necessary, they'll train you to get your CDL and they didn't care if you were a felon. Those days are over. However I am seeing more companies loosen up out here. Now they are just requiring tractor/trailer experience. Oilfield experience is now preferred but not required.
