After getting the bypass for the 1st 2 closed scales, the 3rd (Oootah POE) was closed, but the Drivewyze said enter (unless closed). Then, that winding part of I-84 after the split with 80, the things 'advisory' screens wouldn't let up. 'watch speed'(when I was 5 mph under the truck speed limit), 'rollover site' (again, going way slower than recommend truck speed), etc. I need to figure out how to disable that part of this stupid system, or just delete the whole dang app. I just wonder, when management is reviewing new stuff, I wonder if they ask the supplier for the most annoying, distracting product possible, then buy in bulk, just to keep the revolving door in recruiting in motion.

Wait. Drivewyze does more than just clear you for passing scales?

They have it set up for advisory areas (like where you have already saw the yellow and black sign with a truck on one set of wheels), or areas like in Utah east of SLC or the Gourge where trucks gotta go slower than normal traffic because of an unusual danger.(I wonder if just before Cali, a skull and crossbones pops up and 'abandon all hope ye who enter here' comes on the screen :laughing-guffaw:)

They can also set it up to tattle-tale on you if you don't react to it's unnecessary warning. I dare them to say one word to me because I don't react... mainly because I have already taken the necessary precautions before the #####box ever told me I needed to. I have already figured out how to uninstall the f'er...if they poke this bear, they'll be paying for an inactive unit.

It tells me how many truck parking spaces a rest area or casino has...when I get close to them in Iowa

So the are being paid? If so, that's a good thing. What is the breakdown pay per day?

    Farmerbob1 Thanks this.

Is the advisory display only, or audio alert too?

    Farmerbob1 Thanks this.

While that's not a very good wage, at least it's something. Thank you SSB.

That's why the terminal managers try to get you moving in a loaner or different truck instead of letting you sit. Not sure why those guys had been stuck there so long, my terminal people would have either had me another ride or, if none were available where I was at, a rental car to another terminal that had one.

    baha and Lonesome Thank this.
