I actually went from liquid transport to Suttles. They have a dedicated route going from Augusta to Marietta Ohio it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The plants treat the drivers like brokers.. you would get loaded and then the next thing you know they're telling you they can't accept the load and you have to sit for a couple days before the plant cause you to tell you they're ready to get unloaded. I got sick of it and I resigned. I tried to give them a two week notice but they told me don't even bother just turn in your truck.
I've been given job offers by quality carriers, Hennif, Paul transportation, possibly a&r logistics, and slay transportation. I'm going to take my time with this one. I'm going to chill for about a week and a half before I make my decision. I think I almost want to get into LTL I just don't know where to start
How are van drivers making more than tankers?
