It gets better because dispatch already pre planned another load. Now they have refused load. Plus another load already booked for driver to pick up. Dispatch say just bring that refused load 250 miles back to a drop yard and get empty trailer for next load. Don't worry your next load is open till 10pm. So you might not really plan on working a 14 hour day but stuff happens and dispatch is like you got keep going and try to make that 10pm pickup before they close. You get paid for everything, so your making money. It gets old after so many times. Then add the ELD/log book and after pushing all day your 30 minutes short on time to pickup that load before that 10pm customer is closed. That's how you work 70 hours in 6 days pushing close to 14 hours every day
They have tablets in truck with unlimited data so drives can watch Netflix or Amazon prime or Hulu or YouTube. Plus free satellite radio in trucks and free GPS truck navigation. Trucks have 4 regular 120v plugs because they got the factory inverters. Air Disc brakes on all tractors and all new trailers have disc brakes. Dispatch is just crazy sometimes. -

I thought they almost all allowed pets now. Do they allow dogs but not cats?
I know Navajo allows cats and definitely hire from the midwest but last time I checked they had not kept up with pay increases.
And OP remember that you wont be able to take your pet anywhere during training so you will have to make arrangements for that.Whammy737 Thanks this. -
