yeah when the new Ford pickup came out, a lot of people didn’t understand this and tried to put a magnet mount on the truck, and took off with it on the roof only to have it fly off and bang up the side of the cab or bed.

Well one of my customers back in 2013 was the shop that created the bodies for the f150 and later did almost every model of Ford truck and suv, it was interesting to see them raw. At the time I was thinking that people are going to put magnet mounts on them and think they will stick,

This is hilarious. It's hard to imagine that a person placing a mag-mount antenna on an aluminum roof wouldn't immediately realize that the lack of actual magnetic attachment grip is a problem.

This must be the result of our public school system and its deemphasis on science, mathematics, logic and critical thinking.

I suppose these same folks sued Ford because it didn't put a sticker on the roof saying "Not for Magnetic Antennas."

    Wow.

When I went to get my Ford serviced last year, there was someone who was complaining about a magnetic mount for the bed cover not working right and his idiot kid sanded the spot down because he thought the paint was too thick. He wanted to have it all fixed under warranty.
