If they dont have enough common sense or respect to get over, they deserve a ticket regardless if they are going the speed limit or not imo. But yeah, probly a touchy subject that one is.

Actually, used to in AR, they wanted both lanes used, not all the wear on right lane, used to when you got out of town limits, signs said “Resume normal speed.”
That was before everyone came up with the money making scheme know as speed limit and seatbelt laws, I know several who were killed with seatbelt on, that would’ve survived if not wearing it.
One drowned cause he couldn’t get the seatbelt off.
It’s ok for the police to fly by you at 100+ or turn on lights and siren(seen one yesterday) fly by you, run a red light then a block away turn it off.
And they wonder why they get no respect, same as drivers, a lot of bad ones ruining it for the good ones -
If speeding were the concern, then presumably the trooper would have singled out the offending driver and taken action.
It might be a bit fruitless for us to debate whether it worse to hold up a long line of cars or the matter of speeding. -
It takes some doing to get pulled over for speeding in a car on the interstate around here. Troopers normally give you 10 over before they really look at you. Unless you keep changing lanes or driving stupid. Cops sit in the middle at mm34 in I 30 near Hope and up to 85mph won't get them to move. And there are plenty going through going well over that for them to grab.
drvrtech77, bzinger and Muddydog79 Thank this.
