Wow...Shaffer needs to get things sorted out. I picked these taters up...load info said 50° cycle mode...shipper said 42° continuous. Load info said I was delivering to the burrito plant (42k lbs of redskin potatoes...to a burrito plant). Load info said drop/hook. I asked op's to verify that I was going to the right place...they said ignore the b/l and deliver where the info said. I get to burrito plant, they say potato plant...I get to the potato plant, they send me to the plant on the b/l...and it's not a drop/hook, it's a live unload...I am surprised that it even delivers in KS...and people wonder why I get so irritable. I told my A/M I wanted stop pay for all this dickin around trying to find my delivery since they never bothered to have a CSR call and check into the address difference, they just re-read the load tender sheet.

No need to waste your time with a junk bottom feeder in Hutchins Texas. Plenty of driving jobs in Wilmer/Hutchins offering home daily or weekly. Crete would get you home for a measly 34 and then when you complain of only bringing home $800 bucks a week they’ll hit you with a “well you wanted to be home every week part timer” load of BS.

OTR is history. You don’t have to stay out longer than a day or work more than five days a week to bring home $1200-$1500 weekly unless you choose to especially in Wilmer/Hutchins, great area to drive out of.

I’m in Plano, I pull tanks out of Irving. There isn’t much home daily for us, unless you want to drive an hour each way. Twice a week is plenty of commuting for me.

You'd have to look online or call recruiting. As an OTR driver, I have absolutely no interest in regional or local so I never really looked.

I have a very difficult time believing any driver with a work ethic couldn't put in 2000 mile weeks working out of the Wilmer yard for Crete or Shaffer. 2000 miles x .61 CPM should get you 800 per week after taxes.

I might be wrong, but I doubt it. Crete pays their company drivers more than most, even if they have been making some pretty #### stupid decisions about Opti-idle systems for the last couple years.

I know I have jokingly called myself a Creaffer many times, but I am truly feeling like one lately. I am on yet another dry load, and it's another short one. After I finally got my 'taters unloaded, I went 20 miles east to pick up a load of plastic containers going to Russellville before noon tomorrow. And in typical Mega fashion, they not only failed to pay attention to my PTA and my hours and offered me my next load that would have required me run 750 miles in 20 hours, with only 8 1/4 hours on my 70...and the live load picked up 180 miles from the delivery, 30 minutes before my PTA.

I just checked their main website and it seems they updated it. Now after putting in what state your in it will show you every opening including dedicated accounts out of your state. A bunch of different dedicated accounts available out of Texas each paying slightly different.

List to long to get in one image Screenshot_20210803-204335_Chrome.jpg
