I think it's a rule of p&d driving, the shorter the trailer the more pick ups you get! Except one route I ran with a 48 I would always come back full no matter what. I'm prob getting bumped back to that route soon too.

Just spoke with an AAA Cooper driver today. No overtime at all, straight pay all the way up to the full 70 hours.
Southeastern has started paying OT after 45. Estes is OT after 52. OD is OT after 60. Everyone is hiring in my city right now, these LTL companies are going to have to start lowering the OT limit close to or at 40 to stay competitive. As they should. I even learned recently that the dockworkers and yard jockey's at Estes get OT after 52 hours too, just like the CDL drivers. How the hell the trucking industry gets away with not having to pay regular/non-CDL, hourly employees OT after 40 is beyond me.snowbird_89, misterG, Gearjammin' Penguin and 1 other person Thank this. -

There's a rumor among drivers that OD will start paying ot after 50 hrs.
