On Tuesday, the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) shared video of the aftermath of a fiery truck crash that occurred on I-15.
The crash occurred Tuesday morning at mile marker 71 on I-15 between Parowan and Cedar City.
Troopers said that the semi truck driver crashed through a barrier in the northbound lanes of the interstate.
The truck driver was able to get himself out of the cab before the truck caught fire, but was later taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Troopers said that that the truck driver was “was luckily wearing his seat belt” when the crash occurred.
Video shared by UHP shows the magnitude of the crash.
