Hard for me to decide which company I want to drive for when I get back on the road, that is lol.
The short list so far is Holland, FCC, Abilene, H&M, or going back to Magnum.
Abilene looks promising if only because they have a secure drop yard in D/FW, which would make home time for me a lot easier. But I can't remember if they have driver facing cams or not.
FCC OTR dry van piques my interest with their 70% drop/hook and potential pay, along with being 48 full.
Holland *was* at the top of my list before I really started paying attention to other threads about other outfits. I feel Holland will have more freight/lanes in the areas I *really* like to run though (my fav places to run are I-10 and I-40 between Tx and CA, I-15 from UT down to CA, and WA/ID/UT down to Tx).
H&M...still researching them, but so far they're on par with everyone else.
And Magnum...I spent just shy of 3 years with them. Only complaint with them is the lack of CA freight, and I really miss runs thru AZ etc lol.
Gonna spend a few days up in the Dallas area next week prepping to get my cdl back, so hopefully I'll be ready to roll with one of these fine outfits by the end of the month.
So a giant THANK YOU goes out to all of you drivers who started/posted in all the threads here, who, unbeknownst to you, have made my life a living hell trying to make this very important decision
Some of you guys are making it hard.
