Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about Internationals? I've never driven one before. It does have a Cummins engine instead of the Maxxforce. I'll have to say that the interior has a terrible layout. The overhead storage spaces above the driver are so small they're pretty much completely useless. Small cabinets, a lot of wasted space, very cheap materials, and poor craftsmanship.
Company just gave me 2022 International

I've never driven one except a pretty worn out one on the practice range in school. I think they come in fifth place out of 5 out of the "big 5". Probably the least expensive one also. Actually, my favorite tractor as a company driver is the one that doesn't break down, and makes me money. I would embrace the Brand Spankin' New Tractor. Keep us updated on your adventures in the new International!

Get out open your jockey box door and see what they call insulation, then gently push on side of sleeper. I said gently you will dent it.

I drove for 2 companies that used Internationals and I was disappointed in Internationals myself. To small inside. Air conditioner never worked, the auto start for A/C only worked part time like 20% maybe. Wake up sweating in the bunk, then it finally completely went out. I am sold on Freightliner, a lot of people don't like them, but the shops are quick about solving the issues on Freightliner. That's my Opinion, but hey, its new, most everything in good when its "new", except made in china stuff, you know the dollar store pure JUNK. You practically ruin that stuff opening the box, or wrappers. hahaha

When I am looking for a new job in Trucking, I also mention the international trucks, do they have those, and if they have driver/sleeper facing cameras. If they do then I must move on.

I drove a '15 International for a few years. It was a complete turd. Cruise control would cut off every few minutes. When the cruise was gone, so was the engine brake. Rain or snow would light up the dash like a Christmas tree. I begged and pleaded for several months until they finally got me out of that clunker.

I know it. I can't believe companies still buy those junky trucks. They are always having Problems.
I mean I hope the OP's Truck is okay. It is new, but anyways. -
I drive a 2017 Pro-star day cab with a cummins. it is pretty cheesy, that’s for sure. But like anything, if you take good care of it, it will last longer. At least the doors and windows don’t leak like the last freightliner (brand new) that I drove.
