How much waiting time is too much?

    LOL, our detention kicked in at 3 hours and about 2:40 in the truck would start rocking like a roller coaster. I always felt like they were waiting till end of free time. Glad to see others noticed the same thing.

    Previous employer paid extra if I grossed over 130,000,,,Every time I loaded at Kimberly Clark 129,900,,every friggin' time!

    it really depends on if your a regional driver or a long haul. If for ex your going to any food store like loblaws you have to wait because they pull each skid, scan and take a sample. If it is successful then they slowly unload skid by skid and depending on the next delivery that’s pending they will change their speed accordingly. It also depends on how much storage they have inside, sometimes the load is even stored on the ground in case there isn’t space. From my experience if you go to Loblaws, Walmart etc it’s at least 6-8 hours. The workers there are also on payroll and they don’t care where your coming from, where you have to go next.
