Technically the moratorium is unconstitutional. There's a story out of NY. Homeowner is $50k behind on the mortgage. Because the Tennant isn't paying the rent. They've also been able to confirm he's still gainfully employed. Just choosing not to pay. Since they can't evict him.

That kind of garbage shouldn’t be tolerated…that person should be evicted.

Agreed. Plus the landlord is having to pay attorney and court costs fighting the moratorium. Oh. Forgot to mention. That high class Tennant has moved in 2 other people. I'm sure he's subletting to them.

The woman in the article was let go from Amazon, yet Amazon still has major construction going on in Las Vegas/Henderson because of growth.
    Why was she let go?
Amazon is having major problems hiring workers here because people don't accept job offers.
Amazon, UPS FedEx, Target, Walmart, and on and on are trying to hire. People don't want to work when they don't have to pay rent and get other free food and money. Landlords are taking a beating on this.

well now, that landlord can forget on ever getting his rent, or his property back, as he will soon be in prison for life, for murder.

stupid thing for him to have killed over rent payments.

this is where you hire a sheriff, and he goes there with the eviction notice......

    Probably quite a few can't.
It's unreal how many jobs are available here. and they're decent jobs with benefits. Many are union jobs in the casinos.
Friend of mine wants to retire, but the casino keeps begging her not to because people are refusing to return to work after the pandemic layoffs.
She keeps going in to work, even though she makes thousands a month from her pension and investments.
Many deadbeat renters are renting out bedrooms in their house for cash. Landlords know about it and can't do anything because the deadbeats are doing everything in cash. Some deadbeat renters that are renting rooms in their house, also have full time jobs their landlords don't know about.
