Is Jacksonville fl a hub terminal? Good for linehaul?

 

Good place, lots of freight. They have a building that resembles a shop but I think they just have a couple of vendor mechanics there during the week, not a real company shop. It’s an old Southeastern terminal.

 

Absolutely huge place. It’s an old Home Depot warehouse / cross dock. Not sure how well the city drivers do but the coverage area is quite large because Estes doesn’t have many Florida terminals like a lot of the regionals do. Jacksonville, Orlando, West Palm, Miami, Fort Myers, Tampa. The old place Kao speaks of was a tiny little nightmare. Good place to tear something up but the new place is heaven compared to the old.

 

Rockford is a mini hub at night. Pretty trashy terminal but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a good amount of freight. Rockford is a pretty industrial area and I was always able to get something out of there even if I didn’t have much time left.

I have been there several times. It’s tiny but there’s a lot of relay freight sitting in there on a regular basis. Would be a good place to run Linehaul out of I do believe. Isn’t Bill Clinton from Hope Arkansas ?
