    You can go to the site before the auction, look over the trucks. Some will have all the maintenance records. Some none. Some of the owner s will be at the auction, so it is possible to talk to them.Taylor and Martin will check the Engine, the ECM is scanned, so things like Horsepower and ECM miles is accurate.

    I am selling a truck at the Columbus, OH Ritchie Bros. auction at the end of September. Ritchie bros has the last couple years of maintenance history and a recap of noteworthy major ticket items. I won't plug it directly here, as that would be pretty mercenary of me, and might draw the wrath of the mods down on me.

    But, yes, sometimes vehicle data and maintenance history is part of the online data available on a truck being sold at auction. At least at Ritchie Bros.
