That company looks really good. Website doesn't show how much experience is required. Let me know.

They hired me the day after I had just been fired after working six years with jb hunt, they like long term employment. I got fired because I broke the golden jb hunt rule by pressing the accelerator while having cruise control on, yes it was as ridiculous as it sounds.

They were paying pretty average up until a couple months ago when they switched from pay by the mile to percnetage pay and have gotten a lot more attractive since then so the hiring standards are probably tighter than before now.

Got to say getting fired from jb hunt was the best bad thing that ever happend to me.

4 days out and 4 days home is burning you out? Try food service or beverage delivery for a few months. "Home Daily", " Sleep in your own bed". You will be BEGGING for your 4 and 4 OTR job back. Good luck!

You might try Britton Transport. They have a van/reefer division as well as a Flatbed division. All are OTR. I did Flatbed for 3 years with them. They technically have a 1 week out to earn 1 day off as well but I routinely worked 3 weeks and went home for 5-6 days. Never a word was said about it. If you like where you are now you might see if you can extend your time off. They might prefer that to losing you. Best wishes to you!

Do they offer an orientation/short training on load securement? Familiar with basic load securement for personal hauling, but would definitely be uncomfortable on my own strapping/chaining. I looked at them when I first decided to go OTR, but never looked too seriously. Will definitely send in a quick app and get some more info. Also considering ATS since they're a little more reasonable (2 weeks out, 3 days home compared to 4 out, 4 home at my current employer) with home time and have some OD/Heavy Haul opportunities. I haven't ever heard anything negative about F&S, so I'll give them a shout.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Easy for me to get tunnel vision when browsing the job market. Seems that a handful of companies always show up, and easy to forget that there's thousands others that might be a good fit.
