I think some pay scales have to do with which region of the country you are in.
Indy add from Dayton says .72cpm and $29.41 hr for local. OD close. Saia and Estes a little lower.

$1500-$1700 per week gross works for me. May not work for somebody else.

At .50 a mile thats 3000 to 3400 miles a week unless there is other stuff you get paid for.
Out west thats a grind but not horrible. Back east I would call that not enough money for how much harder you have to work for those miles.

Then again, I love that wages have come up enough that I can even make that argument!
I hope they stay up for my OTR brothers

I’m not knocking the total. I’m just saying that’s low for the industry right now. It’s also a lot of hours to get 1500. At 60mph average while moving that’s 50 hrs driving time. That 50 hrs is worth 1500 in today’s market. Plus you have customer time. Look I’m not busting your chops. I’m just saying drivers are in a rare position today. We can command more money in today’s market.

Danny Herman is dry van. Do you know of any companies that are offering $1500 for 55 hours worth of work (50 hours driving 3k miles and 5 hours in that 5 day period as On Duty Time) in a dry van with no touch freight?

Specific companies and payscales. I don't ask to be confrontational. But help us job searchers and lurkers out here.

Quick google search at 60cpm brings up Variant, Total, GP Transco, PTI, RTI, all the LTL companies for line haul, and more

I easily make $1500 in 55 hours of on duty time. in the last two days I used 18:30 and made just over $600.

At my base rate of 56 cpm, if I ran 3,000 miles I would be just over $1,600. With short haul and other accessories I am making about 71 cpm, or $27.50 a hour counting all time from when I start my day to when I end it. I drive for Schneider.
