I easily found a job in Trucking and I am 59 and have high blood pressure, but can be lowered with prescription medication. Regular sleep and excercise are recommended. That was passed forward to the Owner and he concurred. 2400-2800 miles a week. 34 at home. He said the 34 is no problem every week, but at home might be 2 times a month. Small operation. I am looking forward to starting. Kenworth Auto 380K. I think if you want to drive CMV you should find the place you want to live in first. Then go around in that area and look for a company to drive for. Its really that easy. It happened for me, it can happen for anyone, right? Remember the next drivers coming behind you. Think of the next generations when you vote. Ask Jesus to forgive your sin, and that you trust him to guide your life. He is available for you. It will help you find what to avoid in life on earth, and the awful frauds we deal with in everyday life. Take Care. God Bless you.

Still see tons of drivers that are barely 5'7". Plenty of short drivers out here.

I'm 5'5" but I have a big head, so people who see me in the drivers seat probably just think I'm sitting on the floor

No driver shortage, but a pay shortage. Also, I’m sitting over here in the Philippines because Knight Refrigerated will not hire me back. I have a clean CDL and no accidents. So maybe they will blame truckers when the nation starves due to supply chain disruptions.

Companies have champagne taste for profit, but a beer budget for driver pay. You can keep your 42 CPM and 70 hour work week.
