Just did a rig dig report and it had a lien and 2 tow away accidents on it. Bummer

 

here is a question for you guys.1998 12.7 Detroit, 1 year ago I drove it 1500 miles ran fine it sit up because the starter went out. recently replaced the starter used a brake bleeder to vacuum the fuel system after replacing a leaking fuel line, also changed the fuel filters, getting fuel past the check valve clean with no bubbles engine starts and will run with either for a few seconds while spraying but won't run on its own what am I missing?

 

Do you have a check engine light with the key on? If not then go back over the wiring at the starter.
What kind of truck?

 

No dash lights (check engine etc.) with key on? Check ecm fuse in positive cable near battery. Also check ground to frame, near battery. Dash lights working with key on? Sure fuels primed? Might need to change trs/srs timing sensors.
