Hello all-
We are a small, start-up hazmat trucking company and are outfitting our first T680! Do y’all have any recommendations as to the best fire extinguisher to keep on board for hazmat operations? What is the biggest size you can keep on board without it getting in the way? I’m having a hard time getting specifics on what’s required. Thanks for any help!
Best fire extinguisher

I believe DOT requires a 10 B.C.( whatever that means) or more for HazMat.

If you have T680 sleeper with cab heater/sleeper A/C powered by APU the gear for those can use almost half of the underbunk space.

BTW, the "10" indicates 10 pound and the "B and C", are the types of fires it can douse. "B" is for flammable liquids and gases, "C" is for electrical.HiramKingWilliams Thanks this.
