I've never heard that. I've heard 200k but I can't say that I've ever read the book. That's what I go by and I've never had any problems.
To bake the DPF or just get a new one?

Throw it in the hot tub and call it good.
Just messing with you from way back. No idea on a FL.p608 Thanks this. -
Take it to V and L in Fontana. They will completely clean it without baking. They have a solution called “The Dip”. It will disolved every bit of soot in it. And a fraction the cost compare to baking.

So????? I know about the ash but what about the pressure washer!?!? The shop near me advertise DPF Cleaning but when I asked about it, they told me that they send the filters to someone else that cleans them or tells you you need new ones. If I google it it tells me it’s around $200 bucks and I should consider it when I change my oil to add it to maintenance. This is my first truck with it and I’m just wanting some none BS REAL answers….Anybody?….Anybody??…
