There are several places in North Charlotte that rent parking spots, I don't know if they do short term / on demand rentals. If they did it would be about the same as a spot in a truck stop although safer.

I rent by the month and typically you pay a fee for the truck, the trailer and your car if you will be leaving it there. Rates can sometimes be negotiated if you are not a daily driver parking there every night. There are some places on Statesville Rd & Old Statesville Rd as well as N Graham St. There are also places along Mt Holly road closer to tank town where there are several truck maintenance facilities.

On average you can expect 100-200/month in that area. Go out of town 50 miles and it can be significantly less.
