    $50 ain't squat. That's not hush money, that's just dangling a carrot. A cheap carrot.

    Or they just threw that in there because they keep getting drivers showing up to orientation without a penny to their name, and they got tired of listening to the whining about being hungry.

    My last orientation, we got breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all 3 days. That was probably about, around $50 value. There was still a guy in my class that kept complaining he was hungry, and he kept cleaning out the snack table. Lol

    Almost 3 year check-in.
    Their equipment got much better.
    Pay got a little better.
    Contracts now run 2k a week.
    Sunday through Friday.
    Still same bs east coast running.
    Throw in the Carolinas and you have a smorgasbord of "I can't find parking" and "Why do I still drive big trucks?"

    Not the worst but not the best.
    Stay safe out there kiddos
