I'm looking forward to a career change into trucking. I graduated from trucking school in 2003 and currently have my class A CDL - after graduating I decided to stay in the commercial real estate business for financial reasons and decided not to pursue my trucking career. I am 56 years old and still in the real estate industry and now I want to pursue my dream in trucking. I have a one-year plan to mentally, physically, and financially prepare myself to enter the trucking industry because once I make the change there's no turning back. the clock is ticking!
Am I to old starting a trucking career

Go for it. My grandfather drove for 60 years. Lots of older people in this profession.

I was 59 when I got my CDL. 61 now. Age doesn't seem to be a factor in trucking.
