I've read of shut downs in other countries before by truckers, happened a while back in Puerto Rico. The end result? The truckers caused pumps to run dry for several days and John Q Public gave the ok for the govt to use force and beat the truckers so their lives wouldn't get affected.

Farmers throw a tantrum like every year in Europe, it's a tradition at this point. Nothing ever comes out of these things, and you think something is going to happen in a nation where ordinary citizens don't even have guns?

Really?? A light at the end of the tunnel. I'll be happy to make the move to an agricultural State.

 

Lots of places need regime change now. France seems ready for one also. Antifa seems to get results and they don't wait to vote once every 4 years. Maybe that's not a coincidence. It's worth a try.

I was at the local ER today with family. Its a large modern hospital. There was only 1 doctor and 1 nurse working and maybe 6 or 7 patients. None were covid as they all had other obvious things going on. So, it was crickets in there with most of the ER shut down.

My wife was at the grocery today and noticed the same thing. Many shelves empty and I noticed it last week as well. Not enough for people to start panic buying, but enough so it was very noticeable. If it gets worse, it'll REALLY get worse as people go crazy.

Is it though? See my post above... ER was near empty today. What we see on tv and read about seems much different then reality.

I've heard 1st hand accounts like yours by at least half a dozen people saying hospitals have been pretty much empty. Last August when i broke my foot and went to the ER it was a ghost town. My aunt last summer was going through chemo and said the same thing. My uncle had knee surgery about a month ago at a big hospital and they only had a few covid patients
