Have always heard..it was easy for driver to switch from Crete to Shaffer...but much harder .getting moved from Shaffer to Crete...because Shaffer total percentage of driver turnover...is way more than Crete

When Snackbar finally quits we hope he doesn’t go back to one of the many mega turds he’s been with. It makes for great theater on here but has to be hard on his BP.

Probably, judging by what we’ve read here before. He’d hate my job, I’m home every weekend. He claims that’s not his lifestyle.

I’m home every day by 5:00 pm. Imagine his poor wife with that setup. He’d be divorced. Lol

Well, still not loaded. Went back, they finally took the freight off my trailer, reloaded, unhooked the dock lock, dropped the dock plate, closed their door and gave me the green light. I pulled out, the load was air bagged, seal was on the floor in the back. Shut the doors, sealed the load and proceeded out to the gate. I was the only outbound truck, pulled on the scale and sat for 10 or so min. Finally someone came out and asked me for my seal number...and it didn't match again. So she said she'd correct it and reprint my bills. 10 more minutes she came out with the seal cutters and told me they want me back at the same door. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT!!!!! She said I wasn't done, I was 3 pallets short. Then why did they airbag the load, unlock my trailer, drop the plate, close the door and give me a green light AND a seal? She didn't know, but they wanted me back at the door. I told her that I would drop it there if it was ok, and come back in the morning. She said that would be fine. That way they can find enough people to take off their shoes so they can count high enough to make sure everything is on the trailer on the 3rd try. I truly loathe that warehouse. You couldn't pay me enough to be a GM dedicated driver out of there...my head would explode within a month.

Would it be hilarious if you find out tomorrow that the 3 pallets missing is what they took off to get you back under weight today?

JoeyJunk, Jarhed1964, O.Henry and 2 others Thank this.
